Skylights are horizontal windows or domes placed on the roof of buildings, often used for natural day lighting in the atriums and other similar open to sky areas. It is a system to remain in touch with nature, get plenty of natural day light and have architectural view of the building. These add to the aesthetic appeal of the building. The most commonly used Skylight shapes are Pyramid, Flat with a grediant or Dome. Other Complex Shapes are also possible but they invite water leakage problems. Skylights can be made using Glass, Polycorbonate & Acrylic. Poorly constructed or installed skylights may have leaking problems and single-paned skylights may weep with condensation. Canopies are external features of the building mainly happening above the entery and exit routs. These are anchored to the building structure with the help of MS Frames and Tie Rods. The construction involves preparation of MS Framework securly attached to the building using anchors. Additionlly, Canopies are fastned to the building using Metal Tie Rods. These structures can be decorated using Glass, ACP, Polycarbonate and Acrylic. Decorative lighting is also sometimes integrated with the Canopies for effective use in the night time.

Railings are generally half highted fall prevention barriers created on the peripheries of slab ends. These are made out of glass combine with SS balusters. The designs can be with or without top handrails. Glass thicknesses used in railings are above 10 mm & prephrebly laminated saftey glass. Mostly used in balconies, floor cutouts in atriums, escalator boundries, staircases & terraces.
